Gets used almost every day

I've had the Campbell for about a year and a half and it has become the bag I grab whenever I don't need a backpack. My wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, earbuds and portable charger all fit comfortably. The upright shape makes everything easier to find than in the small sling I used previously. The leather has softened and picked up a few scratches from daily use, but the stitching, zipper and strap attachments have all remained solid.

Front section is useful

I keep the things I reach for most often in the front section instead of opening the main compartment every time.

Smaller than my old crossbody

I had to rethink what I carry because this is genuinely a compact bag. Once I stopped trying to put half the contents of my backpack inside, I started appreciating the size much more. For phone, wallet, keys, glasses and a few small extras it's excellent and very comfortable to wear.

Great alternative to full-size bags

Most days I don't need to carry enough to justify a backpack, but I also hate filling every pocket in my trousers and jacket. The Campbell has solved that nicely. It's large enough for my everyday essentials without feeling cumbersome, and the vertical shape sits comfortably against my side. After almost a year the leather is noticeably softer but still holds its shape.

Leather has aged very nicely

Mine is getting close to two years old now and looks much better than when it was completely new. The leather has developed small scratches, some darker areas where I handle it most and natural creasing around the sides. I've conditioned it a handful of times but otherwise haven't done much to it. Despite regular use, the main zipper is still smooth and the strap hardware hasn't loosened at all.

Useful 9 cm depth

There's enough depth for my glasses case and a small charger without making the bag feel overly bulky.

Easy to wear

Once I adjusted the strap to the right length, it became very comfortable for walking around town.

Better organized than a sling

I previously used a small sling bag where everything ended up stacked on top of everything else. The upright shape of the Campbell works better for me because I can reach the things at the bottom more easily. The front section is also genuinely useful for something I want to grab quickly. It's compact, but the space is used well.

Excellent bag for traveling

I originally bought this for a trip because I wanted my passport, wallet, phone and other essentials somewhere more accessible than my backpack. It worked so well that I've continued using it at home. The main zipper keeps everything secure while the front section is handy for things I need frequently. After fifteen months of airports and everyday use, the bag has held up extremely well.

Built for actual everyday use

I've never treated this particularly carefully. It gets put on café tables, train seats, car floors and occasionally stuffed inside my luggage when traveling. After nineteen months, the leather has plenty of marks and has softened considerably, but nothing structural has failed. The strap attachment points are still secure, the stitching looks good and the main zipper continues to work properly. It feels nicely broken in now.

More room than it looks

The bag looks quite compact from the front, but the depth gives it enough space for a useful everyday setup.

Needed a little breaking in

The leather around the opening was fairly firm when the bag arrived. After a few months it has softened considerably and is easier to use one-handed. I actually prefer that it started structured because the bag hasn't become floppy with use.

Perfect for lighter days

I still use a backpack when I'm carrying my laptop, but for everything else this has largely replaced it. The Campbell holds my normal personal essentials without the excess space of a larger bag. Two years and still dependable

I've owned mine for around two years and it has probably been used more than any other bag I own. It comes with me for weekend errands, day trips and most holidays. The leather is much softer now and has developed a lot of natural variation, especially around the corners. The strap has remained secure, the metal fittings still work properly and the zipper hasn't needed any attention. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

Exactly what I wanted for city trips

I wanted something small enough to wear comfortably all day but large enough that I wouldn't need to keep important things in my pockets. The Campbell has worked perfectly. Passport, wallet, phone, earbuds, sunglasses and a charger all fit, and I can keep quick-access items in the front section. After a year of traveling with it, there are no issues with the stitching or hardware.

The leather is developing real character

After sixteen months of regular use, mine has a completely different feel from when it arrived. The leather has softened, there are small scratches across the surface and the edges have developed some darker areas. None of it looks like damage; it just looks properly used. The bag still holds its upright shape well, and the adjustable strap and metal hardware remain in very good condition.

Great as long as you pack light

The Campbell is excellent for personal essentials, but it's still only 23 by 27 cm. I tried carrying too much during the first week and made it unnecessarily bulky. With my phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses, earbuds and charger, the size feels just right and the bag sits much better.

Comfortable for long walks

I've worn it for several hours at a time while sightseeing and haven't found the strap uncomfortable.

Front pocket makes more difference than expected

I didn't think much about the front slip section when ordering, but it has become one of my favorite parts of the bag. I keep my transit card and other quick-access items there, while my wallet and valuables stay in the zipped compartment. It means I don't have to open the whole bag every few minutes when I'm traveling. Fourteen months in, everything is still holding up well.

More importantly, the construction has remained dependable. The zipper works smoothly, the strap adjustment stays where I set it and none of the hardware has loosened. It's become one of my favorite travel pieces.

Useful but definitely compact

I like the Campbell a lot, but buyers should pay attention to the measurements. It's intended for smaller everyday items rather than carrying everything you might put in a messenger bag. Once I adjusted my expectations, the compact size became one of the things I liked most about it.
