The separate front pockets are what sold me on this. Keys, earbuds and wallet each have their own place instead of everything ending up together.

Still using it constantly

I've had mine for around seventeen months and it has become my default bag whenever I don't need a full backpack. The tall shape works surprisingly well because I can carry quite a bit without the bag feeling wide or bulky. I normally keep my phone and wallet in separate front sections and use the main compartment for my tablet, glasses case and charger. The leather has softened considerably and developed darker areas around the edges, but all the zippers and hardware are still working perfectly.

A little stiff at first

The leather and strap both felt quite firm when it arrived. After a few months of regular use it has softened nicely and sits much more naturally now.

Excellent travel companion

I've taken this on several trips now and the pocket layout makes a real difference when moving through airports and train stations. My passport and wallet stay in one compartment, smaller things like earbuds and cables go in another, and the larger main section takes my tablet and glasses case. Everything is easy to find without unpacking the whole bag. After fourteen months the leather has picked up plenty of character but the construction still feels extremely solid.

It carries more than I expected for a 16 cm wide bag and still stays close to the body.

Strap could be wider

Comfortable with my normal everyday load, although when I pack the main compartment completely I'd appreciate a slightly wider strap. Otherwise very pleased with it.

Ages exactly how I hoped

Mine is coming up on two years old and has been used several times a week. The Cognac finish now has a much richer look, with darker areas where I handle it most and plenty of lighter marks across the front. I don't baby the bag at all and that's probably why it has developed so much character. More importantly, nothing has failed. The stitching is intact, the strap attachment feels secure and every zipper still runs smoothly.

More structured than expected

It was fairly rigid straight out of the box and didn't hug the body immediately. Six months later the leather has relaxed and it feels considerably better to wear.

A year of regular commuting

I've used this for roughly a year on days when I don't need to carry my laptop. It easily handles my tablet, phone, wallet, charging cable, power bank and a few work essentials. The front pockets are genuinely useful rather than decorative, especially for things I need during the commute. Mine has become softer with use but hasn't collapsed or lost the structured look that I liked when I bought it.

Great size for sightseeing

I originally bought the Luis specifically for a European trip and have continued using it ever since. The narrow profile is useful in busy areas because it doesn't stick out much, but the 31 cm height gives you more usable room than you'd expect. My small tablet fits in the main compartment along with a charger and glasses. I keep my passport and wallet separated in the front sections. Sixteen months later everything still feels secure.

Leather marks easily

The Cognac started showing little scratches quite quickly. Most blend in after handling it for a while, so I'm starting to appreciate the worn look.

Takes everyday abuse well

This bag gets thrown onto car seats, carried on trains and packed into larger luggage whenever I'm traveling. After nineteen months it definitely doesn't look new anymore, but that's a positive with this kind of leather. There are creases and scuffs everywhere and the Chocolate finish has developed some nice variation. Structurally it has been excellent. None of the pocket seams have opened up and the hardware still feels as secure as when it arrived.

More space than it looks

The tall shape is deceptive. I can carry a tablet and all my smaller essentials without the bag looking overloaded.

Slightly heavy when full

The leather and hardware make it heavier than the fabric sling I replaced. With a tablet and power bank inside I definitely notice it, although the quality feels much better.

Very convenient for flights

This has become the bag I keep with me on flights while my larger carry-on goes overhead. It holds my tablet, passport, phone, wallet, headphones and charging gear without being awkward under the seat. The multiple pockets mean I'm not digging around in one big compartment whenever I need something. After more than a year of travel the zippers are still smooth and the strap attachment points haven't loosened at all.

Took time to break in

For the first few weeks I wasn't completely convinced because it felt rather stiff. It's a different bag after five months and now conforms much better when worn.

Almost two years and still excellent

I've used mine for nearly two years and it's probably my most frequently carried leather bag. What I appreciate most is the organization. Smaller things can stay in the front pockets while the main section remains available for a tablet or anything bulkier. The leather is considerably softer now and has developed a very natural patina. There are no broken zippers, loose stitches or problems with the strap despite how much use it gets.

The Chestnut has aged nicely

My Chestnut bag has changed quite a bit over eleven months. It's darker around the edges and strap attachment, while the front has picked up lighter scratches and variations from normal use. I give it a light conditioning every few months and that's about it. The leather remains supple and the bag still holds its shape well. Definitely one of those products that looks better once it stops looking brand new.
