Great weekend bag

Man this bag is real nice. The stitching and craftsmanship is awesome. The leather is thick and zipper solid although a little stiff but i'll work it in just fine.

My regular weekender now

I've owned this for well over a year and it has basically replaced the canvas duffel I used for short trips. There's enough room for what I normally take for a weekend without the bag feeling enormous. I use the handles most of the time and switch to the shoulder strap when I'm walking farther. The leather has softened and developed some nice variation around the handles and corners.

Easy to carry

The shoulder strap is useful when my hands are full, and the handles feel comfortable when I'm just carrying it from the car to the hotel.

Heavier than my old duffel

It's real leather, so there is definitely more weight here than with my old fabric bag. I noticed it most when fully packed. The quality and appearance make up for it for me, but it's worth keeping in mind.

Perfect for road trips

This has become the bag I throw in the back seat whenever my wife and I head away for a couple of days. I like that it has enough room for a short trip without being the size of a suitcase. The leather has taken on a much nicer look over the past year, especially where the handles get used. Nothing on mine has loosened or failed.

Cognac was the right choice

The Cognac has a warm color that looks even better in person. I've already had a couple people ask where I got it.

Still going strong

Mine has been on a lot of trips over the last year and a half, including flights, long drives and a few work weekends. I don't baby it and it definitely shows some use now, but that's part of the appeal. The Chocolate leather has developed lighter marks around the edges and darker areas around the handles. Structurally it's still in very good shape and the strap hardware feels secure.

Looks expensive

The leather, stitching and brass-colored hardware give it a really substantial look without being flashy.

My go-to for weekend travel

I've had this about a year and use it whenever I'm away for a few nights. It's easy to pack, easy to grab by the handles and looks a lot better arriving at a hotel than the gym duffel I used before. The shoulder strap is also handy in airports when I need both hands free.

Took time to soften

The leather felt quite stiff when the bag first arrived, especially around the handles. After several trips it has loosened up and feels much better now. I like the broken-in look it's starting to develop.

Nice upgrade

Replaced an old polyester duffel with this and it feels like a serious upgrade. Much nicer to carry and definitely looks better.

Been through plenty of airports

This bag has accompanied me on more work trips than I can count. I mostly use the shoulder strap moving through airports and the handles once I get where I'm going. The leather has accumulated scratches and creases but still looks great. I especially like that the bag now has some character rather than looking brand new and overly polished.

Handles are comfortable

Small detail, but the handles matter when the bag is packed. These feel substantial and don't dig into my hands the way my old duffel did.

Good for work trips

I travel for work a few times a month and wanted something that looked a little more put together than a basic duffel. This has been a good fit. It works for my shorter trips and doesn't look out of place when I'm checking into a nicer hotel or heading straight into a meeting afterward.

Went with Black because I wanted something understated. Very clean look.

Right amount of room

I don't pack heavily, so this works well for my normal weekend trips. There's enough space to be useful without encouraging me to bring half my closet.

Shoulder strap gets noticeable

I really like the bag, but when I pack it heavily I can feel the shoulder strap after a while. For normal weekend packing it's fine, and I usually switch to the handles for shorter distances anyway.

Looks better broken in

The bag was beautiful when it arrived, but I actually prefer it now after more than a year of travel. The leather around the bottom corners and handles has started developing different tones and a few scratches. It gives the bag a much more natural appearance. All of the areas that take the most strain still feel solid.

Worth the upgrade

A much nicer bag than the cheap duffels I've gone through over the years.

Great for driving trips

I use this mostly for weekend drives rather than flights. It fits nicely in the back of the car and is easy to carry into a hotel. I like being able to grab the handles quickly instead of dealing with a backpack every time we stop somewhere.

Has held up very well

I've owned this for almost two years and it has seen regular travel during that time. The Chocolate finish has changed quite a bit, with lighter scuffs and darker areas from handling, but I like the patina. The handles still feel strong and the shoulder strap hardware hasn't loosened. It feels like a bag that's meant to be used rather than kept on a shelf.

A proper travel bag

I was tired of buying inexpensive duffels that looked tired after a year. This one has gone in the opposite direction. The more I use it, the more character the leather develops. I've taken it on flights, road trips and weekend visits to family, and it has handled everything without an issue so far.

Great bag, color changed a little

My Cognac bag has darkened a bit in the areas I handle most. I wasn't expecting the change to happen quite that quickly, but I actually prefer the richer color now. Otherwise it has been excellent.

My favorite bag for short travel

I've tried a few different weekend bags and this is the one I keep coming back to. I like the combination of the structured leather body, substantial handles and removable shoulder strap. It looks appropriate whether I'm going on a casual road trip or checking into a hotel for work. After nineteen months, the leather has softened but the bag still keeps a nice overall shape.

One year later

I've had mine for a full year now and use it roughly once or twice a month. The bag still feels very solid and the leather is starting to look properly broken in. I particularly like the handles because they're easy to grab when I'm getting on and off trains. The strap is useful when I have another bag with me.

Great gift

Bought the Chocolate one for my husband's birthday. He travels fairly often and started using it immediately. He especially likes the handles and the darker leather.
