Good everyday sling

I wanted something smaller than my usual shoulder bag for running around town. This has been a good size for the basics and I like the canvas and leather combination.

Nice alternative to leather

Most of my bags are all leather, so I wanted something a little more casual. The canvas gives this one a different look without feeling cheap. The brown trim and buckle are a nice touch. I've used it regularly for several months and it has become one of those bags I grab without thinking about it.

Good bag overall

I like the size and the overall design. The buckle took me a little getting used to compared with the zipper bags I normally carry, but after a few days it wasn't an issue. I'd buy it again.

My weekend bag

This has pretty much replaced the larger bag I used to carry on Saturdays. I don't need much with me, so the smaller profile makes more sense. I went with the khaki and really like the contrast between the canvas, darker lower section and brown details. It has a rugged look without being overdone.

Just the right size

I was specifically trying to get away from carrying a backpack everywhere. This gives me enough room for the things I actually use during the day and doesn't feel like I'm carrying around a full-size bag.

Great casual bag

The canvas makes it feel much more relaxed than a dressier leather messenger. Works well with jeans and a jacket, which is basically how I dress most weekends.

Still using it

I've had mine for well over a year now and it has held up better than I expected. I originally bought it as a smaller bag for weekend trips and errands, but it ended up getting much more use than that. The canvas has taken on a nice lived-in appearance and the bag still looks good. Nothing overly fancy, just a useful bag that has aged well.

Smaller than my old bag

It is more compact than the shoulder bag I replaced, which took a little adjustment. Once I stopped carrying things I rarely used, I actually preferred the smaller size. It sits comfortably and doesn't feel bulky.

Good for walking around

Took it with me on a long weekend and carried it around most of the day. Much easier than bringing my backpack when I only needed a few essentials.

Khaki looks great

Really like the khaki version. The brown accents work well with it.

Better than carrying a backpack

At 58 I finally decided I didn't need to haul a backpack around every time I left the house. I wanted something casual that could hold the things I normally bring with me without looking oversized. This has worked out very well. The canvas keeps the weight and appearance more relaxed, and the shoulder style is convenient when I'm walking. It has become my regular bag for errands and day trips.

Solid construction

The stitching and hardware have held up nicely so far. Mine gets tossed in the truck fairly often and I haven't had any problems with it.

Nice but took some adjustment

I normally use zip-top bags, so the flap and buckle setup felt a little slower at first. That is really my only criticism. I like the appearance and the size enough that I've continued using it regularly.

A bag that gets better with use

Mine has seen a lot of weekends away, road trips and ordinary days around town. I didn't baby it and that's probably why I like the way it looks now. The canvas has developed some character rather than looking worn out, and the darker trim still gives it some structure visually. I originally thought this would be an occasional-use bag, but it ended up becoming one of my most frequently carried.

Casual without looking cheap

That's what sold me on this one. Canvas bags can sometimes look a little too outdoorsy for me, but the leather details and metal hardware dress this one up just enough.

Useful travel companion

Brought this along on a trip to Nashville and used it whenever I didn't want to carry my larger travel bag. It was especially handy for walking around during the day. The shoulder strap makes it easy to keep close without having something large on my back.

Army green was the right choice

I went back and forth between the colors and ended up choosing army green. Very happy with it. It has a muted look that works well with the brown trim.

Good with one small gripe

Overall this is a very useful sling and I like the way it looks. I do wish getting under the buckle was a little quicker when I'm in a hurry. That's a minor thing though, and I still use the bag several times a week.

Feels substantial

I was pleasantly surprised by how substantial it feels. The canvas doesn't feel flimsy and the hardware gives it a solid appearance.

Gets used more than expected

Originally purchased this because I wanted a small shoulder bag for vacations. Once it arrived, I started using it around home as well. It is much easier to grab this than my larger bag when I'm just going out for a few hours. After more than a year it still has plenty of life left in it, and I actually prefer the way the canvas looks now compared with when it was brand new.

Good day bag

I almost went with another all-leather bag but wanted something more casual this time. Glad I made the change. This feels less formal and fits how I actually use a bag on weekends. The leather accents keep it from looking plain.

A nice middle ground

I didn't want a backpack and I didn't want a tiny pouch either. This landed in a good middle ground for me. It has enough presence to feel like a proper bag but is still easy to carry when I'm out for the day. I also appreciate that the design is fairly traditional and doesn't have the technical look of a lot of modern slings.

The canvas and brown detailing work really well together. It has a more interesting look than the plain nylon bags I was considering.
